the characters are very immature, not an enjoyable read for me personally.

DNF, my first one of the year but I’m sorry I really couldn’t do this to myself. I enjoyed the first book enough, but this one just reminded me of the After series which I also couldn’t finish

audiobook (Libby) - wow, the ending event is crazy and something that you can see Noah and Nick building to but not in that particular occurrence. They go through several events that threaten to tear them apart and put them on unstable grounds causing them to continually doubt their trust in one another and their relationship. There are also a lot of secrets between the two that continue to enforce the mistrust.
I can't believe that Noah of all people was the one to fully cheat on Nick, though given their age/experience level differences it's almost not unexpected when thinking about it after the fact. It makes sense that Nick after a single kiss realizes he doesn't feel nearly the same as he does when kissing Noah where as Noah is manipulated by several people including her own therapist into the situation but also not experienced enough to realize that everyone's kisses may be slightly different but should invoke the same feels if it's truly love. As each therapy sessions progress the reader can clearly see how he's manipulating her against Nick while building her trust in Michael.
