Understanding poetry is often the most complicated part of readign these types of books. With Whitney’s unique rearangement of the 26 letters of alphabet, I have found familiarity. Her poems are pieces of her soul that don’t need to be explained, they just need to be. In her journey, you will find something special about yourself. Even tiny words have big meanings. Although the bees are at rest, they will not turn against you, no matter what it feels like. Sometimes a few beestings could protect the hole hive. So don’t be scared stings, be scared of their abscence. Can’t wait to hear more from this young poet.
