I was really confused throughout this whole book. It was just weird, something felt so off about it. Maybe because of the graphic novel format. This is a book that I would only recommend if you have in depth knowledge of all the major player in the women's suffrage movement. If you're hoping to learn about the movement and some of the characters in it, you will not learn it here. The timeline of events jumps from one event to the next with little transition and it makes it really jarring as a reader.

I enjoyed this graphic novel, it focuses on the Votes for Women campaign in Great Britain. Overall think it gave a good overview of the topic and was very informative. Having the timeline of events, as well as the annotations in the back was also quite useful.
The first part of the story however was a bit confusing and therefor it took me longer than usual to really get into the story.
The illustrations were nice, they where mostly black and white with some colour accents, which in my opinion gave it a unique look. However it was sometimes hard to distinguish some of the characters from one another as they where drawn quite similarly.
