Adorable, absolutely adorable. Such a good version of the “guy is head over heels for the girl and willing to chase her”. That the big famous hockey player was willing to wait to wait so long for the awkward female lead with the cane was so well done.

I loved this book! I think that representation in books is the best thing ever. I loved reading about characters with autism and one that also had RA. I have a friend with an autoimmunity disease and know how hard even you to work is some days. I truly appreciated how well this was conveyed in this book. I loved the times when Frankie was brave enough to tell Ren about her pain. Of course I loved the times when he knew without her telling him even more.

This book was a perfect balance. Representation, sports, romance, laughter. I cannot wait to dive into book 3!
