Esta serie es sin duda un lugar seguro. Me he leído los 5 libros en solamente dos días, quedándome de madrugada leyendo porque no podía parar. Una trama que consigue engancharte desde el primer momento, con personajes muy bien figurados y escenas muy bien descritas. Sin embargo, lo que hace especial a esta serie de literatura fantástica juvenil es el narrador. Primera persona, Alcatraz nos cuenta la historia que vivió, desde una manera llena de humor, reflexiones y tonterías. Esto hace la lectura más entretenida y amena, ya que hasta hay algunas cosas en las que el lector debe participar, y el autor experimenta contigo. Ojalá poder olvidarme de ellos para leerlos por primera vez

and somehow i didn’t know there was a 6th book even though i knew there was a a 6th book!!! fantastic!

Naprawdę kocham tą serię i ten tom mnie nie zawiódł. Bardzo mnie zaskoczył zwłaszcza zakończenie. Bohaterowie byli dalej cudowni. Fabuła bardzo ciekawa. Chociaż pozostawił mi ten tom taki niedosyt.

3.5 - the last book definitely is the standout so far for this series; this iteration continued steeply down a path on brutality I find myself wondering at for a middle grade book, but also doesn't have nearly the twists and truths that really pulled my into the last few books. There's intrigue, sure, but honestly not so much happens and not much is resolved, just kicked down the road. That said I'm p excited for the last book in this series and particularly getting to finish this of with a bang in another characters voice
