This book was good, but not as good as the first one. The nature of the conspiracy was a little complicated for my 1st grader, but she still loved it. There are lots of idioms and cop jargon that needed explaining, so for us, this worked better as a read-aloud.

Still a fantastic children's book series. The storyline doesn't get too complicated, the vocabulary is mostly understandable, and the humor is great for all ages. I would definitely recommend this to any parent.
