Well it was definitely a book… a bad Cinderella spinoff? That too.

Benedict sucks so this was hard to enjoy. I hope they completely change this storyline for the eventual Netflix adaptation

1,75 ⭐️ DNF at around 50%. this book made me realize i do not want to go on with the bridgerton saga. the plot is nonsense, almost ironic : a guy saves a girl from potential abusers then he kisses her against her will. + ITS BASICALLY CINDERELLAS STORY

still, 1,75 stars because at first it was enjoyable

I fully intended to push through this book quickly just so I could read Colin and Penelope's story sooner.

How foolish of me.

This is most definitely my favorite book in the series so far. There are no flaws I could've come up with.
I love Sophie and Benedict as a couple and I absolutely loved witnessing Sophie getting her happy-ever-after. She truly deserves it.

The easiest 5 stars I've ever given to a book!
