Nice 1st book

I find this is a book worth reading. I found the Glass and Steele series to be better. There were a few times where the conversation between two people was duplicated.

I enjoyed learning about Charlotte and her abilities. Her life was definitely rough and set a dark tone for the book. Can't wait to see what happens next.

While I liked this one, the MC comes across quite young and her cleverness seemed to diminish as the book went on. But it was quite fun to read.

DNF 40%
It’s taken me 5 days and I’m still only 40% through. I listened to the audio book and just didn’t enjoy the characters or the story. The story started out interesting but it became rather boring and predictable. Add to that characters who I just didn’t like and I don’t see the point of listening or finishing this book. Plus it’s like 10 books long and I’m so sick of long series.
