I almost didn't read this book because the second book was so bad that I thought I was done with this series. Well, I'm happy I decided to give it a chance.

This time, and for a change of pace, the villain if a woman. I don't know, this probably is not right, but I'm not mad about the things she has done. Girl power, you know? Girls defend girls! Of course you can dissolve your family members in acid... who doesn't? Yes, she is completely crazy, but I like her.

Anyway, good story, good plot, well written characters with good, solid, backgrounds and the ending that these characters deserved. Nicely done!

I liked that the lady main character had the morally gray traits! Also the wizard of oz/wicked references were amazing. Always makes me smile. I didn’t love the Mr. Main character I didn’t find him to be particularly interesting but I don’t think that was the intent. The focus is more on other characters growth and drive.

1. There is no plot.
2. A grown **s men calling women b*tches is a ick for me.
3. I don't care for these charachters...
4. THE WRITTING IS AWFUL!
5. Okay smut scenes almost every chapter. Also the gun smut scene like no please !
6. Just a waste of time read something else.

I liked this book because it was fast, the plot was interesting enough, and it got me out of a reading slump. I also liked how the badass villain of the story was a women, that was a fun twist from the normal “innocent girl meets bad boy” trope.

If it wasn’t for the smut, it wouldn’t be worth reading. While an interesting idea, the fractured (more like shattered) telling of the Wizard of Oz could use some character development.
I appreciated the idea of the female m/c being the true villain, however the entire book is predictable and nothing new.
