Crazy that the "Final Battle" started when there are still... 6 volumes left! I wonder how the pacing of the rest of this series will be.
I will say that it felt like the initiation of the final battle seemed to pop out of relatively nowhere.... But, it was still a cool set off.

The Final Battle begins, and I am guessing we are going full Dragonball on it given that we still have 7 volumes left and this is pretty much the end boss (along with his lackeys) to defeat and they have to keep fighting until sunset. Which should just be a few hours, so I am getting a lot of dragon ball vibes, it could take episodes and episodes for a bit of time to move. So I hope I can stick to reading it. For this volume it was a resounding HECK yes because it was one big rollercoaster and full of exciting and shocking moments. About Tanjiro, about the crying Hashira whose name I keep forgetting, a confrontation happens. We learn more about the master of the Demon Slayers, we learn a dash about Muzan. There are amazing fights. I am quite excited about the next volumes, but also worried that I may get bored because it takes 7 whole volumes for the final battle.

Okay so can we talk about how intricate the plot and characters are? Like everything matters and yet there is room to feel pity and anger and resentment and hope. I’m in awe of this story and the impact of certain scenes (no spoilers) AND THE THOUGHT THAT WENT INTO THEM. That being said, I’ve been brought to tears one too many times I’m in pain.
