Oh man, this is so wonderful. A must read for cat lovers (and honestly anyone)! Endearing, sweet, sad, joyful, and beautiful.

"Tell me, Satoru. What's out out there beyond this field? A lot of wonderful things, I'm thinking. I wonder if I'll be able to go on a trip with you again."

THIS BOOK IS THE PRETTIEST THING I'VE READ IN A LONG TIME! I'M HERE SOBBING BECAUSE OF IT AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF IT'S BECAUSE I'M SAD OR IF IT'S JUST BECAUSE I'M SO OVERWHELMED BY EVERYTHING ABOUT IT! IT'S SO PRETTY. SO, SO PRETTY!!

I'll probably collect myself and write a proper review another time. Please go read this. I want to reread it already. I needed it in my life.

A sweet book. ❤️ Slow in the middle, but then the epilogue made it worth it. Thought about it a lot the day after finishing.
