•Bad For The Boss ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Let’s see…she sent an email to her boss about a guy showing his unrequited feelings for her thinking it was her bff, they flirted a bit, then they met, instantly liked each other, he made a proposition and now she’s having trouble saying no to him.

-Multicultural
-Age gap(14yrs)
-Boss
-Murder/Attempted Murder
-Secret office romance
-Anxiety rep
-Not at work, but definitely at work and loud AF

Great diversity!

So, I abandoned my holiday reads for this whole series and loved it! Talia's diverse characters give black readers like me such a different sense of imagination and belonging and I love how all her characters are relatable. My go to author for sure!

Bad For the Boss – After finishing Jenny and Theo’s HEA, I think I’m finding office romances a little squicky in the era of #metoo when it never used to bother me before. I thought the meet-cute was funny but the idea that a successful man of 40 who’s described as a rather straight-faced, stick-in-the-mud could fall so ridiculously in lust at first sight
Having said that, I really enjoy the representation - that Theo is half Chinese and she’s black and their culture’s are represented. I liked that Jenny’s hair was a plot point – I had to look up what 4b type hair was, so I learned something - and it was super-cute that Theo watched YouTube to figure out how to help wash her hair.

Undone by the Ex-Con – I liked Isaac and Lizzie’s HEA better, even though I wasn't sure how I felt about a convicted killer as a hero, but the circumstances turned me around. The pseudo-sub scene was hot, and lI oved the cameos from Theo and co. "I'm bored," was the best line in this. I loved, too, that Isaac was actually shy, but mistakenly perceived as mysterious, but at the same time, a shy woman would be considered a snob. #doublestandard

Sweet on the Greek – The trend in this series seems to be cinnamon heros – men who have tough exteriors but are soft and gooey inside. This would be tru-ish for Nic, although he is funny in that he recognizes that he’s always had it easy with women, and men, so he’s never had to work for it.

This was an enjoyable series although it's not my favourite by Talia Hibbert, I enjoyed her Ravenswood series more.

Bad for the Boss: 5 Stars
I absolutely love Theo and Jen. I love their relationship, chemistry and all their moments together.
After reading this I think Theo is one of my favourite male romance leads, I just loved every moment he was on page. Jen was also a beautiful main character with very real worries. I loved how strong she is with everything that happened in the book.
I was really surprised with the subplot and the ending. It was not something that I expected (despite the very obvious signs that I kind of forgot in favour for the cute couple) but surprisingly liked a lot.

Undone by the Ex-con: 4 Stars
I really liked this story too. I did give it for 4 stars as it didn't pull me in as much as the first one. I can't pinpoint what it was that stopped me from giving it 5 stars either. I really liked the characters and the plot was interesting to read. I think it just came down to I preferred the first book more than this one. Great read either way.
I really liked Isaac and Lizzie's interactions. I also liked the hate to lovers plot and the driving forces behind it. I will admit I didn't like how Lizzie left professional dancing in the prologue. After reading the whole book I get it, but it did leave a little sour taste in my mouth which now that I think about it probably carried through the book. Other than that it was a fun read and would recommend.

Sweet on the Greek: 4 Stars.
This was a 5 star read until those last three chapters. The final conflict felt a little forced like "Shit there is still a final climax that needs to happen. Quick do this" and fell flat with me.
Ignoring the final conflict, I adored the plot of fake dating. I adore Aria and Nik, they are such sweethearts with each other and I loved every moment of them together. There is something about sweet loveable male, and boss bitch awesome female that is just chef's kiss.

I really enjoyed this series and highly recommend reading this. Each story is strong and can easily stand on its own but also work well together to see people and the world interacting. I'll need to read the spin off Work for It which is about Keyes now!

Veautit

Just devine the characters were so nuanced and every book was different rather than having similar attributes within all the books.

(I got to 16% by skimming heavily for the last 5%, so I really only seriously read 11% of the book.)

I started reading Talia Hibbert with Roommate Risk and continued with Guarding Temptation and in both cases, the writing quality was really top par. Because of that, it felt cheep to read the Just for Him series (although I've only read the first book). Idk if this one was written earlier or maybe it was her first official published book, but the writing style was really poor. I really didn't enjoy that experience and didn't want to continue it. However the good thing about all this is that if this WAS one of her first published works, than she absolutely significantly improved herself  and because of that, I'm not gonna stop trying to read her other books (just not from this series😅)

4 stars instead of 5 only because of not liking the first book very much. The other two were perfect *chef’s kiss*
