I am so conflicted with this one because on one hand I loved it the most so far but I also wanted to strangle everyone. On one hand we have a deeper connection in Usagi and Mamoru's relationship which is great but then there is also Usagi getting jealous of a 10 year old. A TEN YEAR OLD!!! SHE LITTERLY THINKS HER BOYFRIEND WHO IS ALMOST 18 WOULD GO FOR A 10 YEAR OLD!?!??!?! That made me want to smack her so much because it was obvious that Chibiusa is their child so just the fact that even after she finds that out she is jealous of a child taking the attention of her Boyfriend away from her. Also Chibiusa, I love that we got her background on why she has the Legendary Silver Crystal and the events that happen after it and I even like how they lead her down the dark path, but there are times I desperately want to smack her for not listening, being stubborn, and not just going to her parents to alleviate her doubts. Other then that I loved how this volume gives us more world building and insight on not only this future but also a little background of the past with how Silver Millennium must have been like!

Oh why did my favorite Sailor senshi of my childhood get stuck on the Black Moon arc?

Sailor Jupiter ... One of my favorite, can't wait for the all group to be united.
I watched this serie when I was growing up, I am now 23 and I still enjoying myself reading them

The fourth volume and the stealing of senshi continues as in this one Sailor Jupiter gets kidnapped. But thankfully that stops when our crew heads to the future and meet themselves (which must be quite a shock). I do have questions. Chibi-Usa knows darn well that Usagi is her mom, she knows that stealing the silver crystal WON'T work, why does she do it then? Why does she keep interfering? Also, it seems that Chibi-Usa just loves stealing stuff from people, especially her mom. We learn how things went wrong and wow. Girl, you are 900 years old, get over it and learn a bit. Dumb brat. Plus, how did Mamo and Usagi not know that Chibi-Usa was their child? It was quite obvious. :P There are also some other things that had me wondering. Plot holes? There is a sweet sweet scene between Mamo and Usagi that had me squeeing in delight. I loved that Usagi is really growing, becoming more mature and caring. She did some very brave things in this book that I just adored. There is Dark Moon awesomeness, and a lot of creepiness (that kiss and that forcing upon Sailor Moon had me not happy). The art was once again gorgeous.

It is getting better again, but I am still waiting for the sparks to give it 5 stars. I do have to say that it is going in the right direction and I love where the story line is going right now. It also had some moments that made me gasp out loud.

Oh, how I miss my childhood and Sailor Moon always finds a way to bring me back to it. The manga does seem to go through the story much quicker than the anime did, for obvious reasons (who wants to read ten books of Usagi crying over how hard it is to be Sailor Moon).

I will continue to read this and enjoy them as fun trips to my childhood. I love the science elements that are splashed in as well (Naoko Takeuchi is a trained Chemist, somewhat).

There is a definite ebb-and-flow pattern with this series. Each arc starts out a bit on the cheesy side (monster of the day, a power boost, etc) followed by a world-building question answering middle before the final wrap up of the arc.

Volume 4 starts out in the cheese zone but really starts to get into the why of the second arc and the reveals are always fun.
