LOVED!! I was not expecting that twist reveal at the end! I assumed the Matt/Kayla/Anders fiasco to occur but WOW I was really intrigued the whole time! Another banger by McManus!!

3.5 Rounded up.

Beautiful writing but stretched out plot and unsatisfying ending. Milly deserved an apology from her mom and Aubrey deserved love :( I wish we saw more side characters that could’ve been woven in. I liked the twist but it doesn’t seem very realistic and I wish they had foreshadowed it instead of throwing it in your face at the last minute. It also bothers me that only Aubrey is involved in the final sequence, especially when Milly is sitting at home doing nothing. I like Milly and Jonah together but the cousins thing took a while to get rid of the ick and I wish I saw more of their relationship. Missed potential for Donald Camden to be a big threat.

I really love each of the characters perspectives and it’s one of the first books I’ve read where I really don’t have a favorite. Hazel annoyed me with the constantly pulling clues out of her ass. Also Aubrey literally carried this book on her back Jonah and Milly need to get off their ass and start looking for clues. I liked the old man he was cool. Theresa is creepy but I wish they didn’t make it so basic. Allison made me sad and Archer made me sadder. Milly deserved her fortune

I couldn't put this one down. I know I definitely skipped some details by speed reading to get to the resolution. Milly and Jonah are pretty cliche, but I loved Aubrey and Archer.

Is P going to make an appearance in a spin-off somehow?

I feel like this movie would've been really good as an adult thriller bc for a YA it just not really believable. i know its fiction but you know what I mean lol it was a good story, but it was pretty predictable and obvious what was going to happen. I just think it could've been a lot better. Still enjoyed it!

This was an okay weekend read. It just felt like not much actually happened. The characters were sort of passive.

I nearly gave up reading this book a couple times because if I didn't sit down & invest an hour in reading, I would lose interest.

I came into this a bit apprehensive because of some negative reviews, however I did enjoy the book. The twists kept me on my toes. I didn't have an idea where the story was going. Its a fun and easy read.
