This book is really something special. In beautiful, slanted rhyme and gorgeous colorful illustrations, it celebrates not only the sounds of morning but also the changing light of morning.

This reminds me a bit of a scene in Rohmer's film, Quatre aventures de Reinette et Mirabelle, when they were talking about nature, blue hour, and went to witness it the next morning.
