I loved this book SOOOOO FREAKING MUCH! I started reading it immediately after “Juniper Bean Resorts to Murder” and it was just as good as the 1st book! It was cute, mysterious, and the perfect read for me!

I didn’t love this one as much as Juniper’s story. The romance was a little strange to me - honestly, how bad Soren was gone for Heidi probably saved it. The mystery was good and I enjoyed the narration.

I think book 1 had better overall character development, but the memory loss element that hits in our opening sequence here kind of throws that opportunity to an extent anyways. Still a good mystery with some obvious bits our leads took way too long to catch, and other nice surprises from elements that seemed truly insignificant but weren't afterall.

Extremely clever in its humor. Good pacing, fun. Cute romance woven into an actually interesting story/plot.

Nice to see a unique angle to the romance too. Feels more realistic. And it's refreshing when reading a bunch of the genre back-to-back.
