I could NOT put this book down. I loved the seamless storytelling of different perspectives on every chapter, and how each character's point of view intertwined with the others as the story went on. Mysterious setting with excellent plot twists; the use of the characters' past blending in with the present was very well done. I savoured the smooth reading without overanalysing the 'whodunnit' aspect, and was very excited and practically mindblowned upon reaching the climax of the book. Absolutely enjoyed myself with this one!

I liked trying to guess who was the victim until the end… only to find out how they were maybe quite deserving of their ending towards the final pages. It did feel a bit like a rush to pull all the ends together but I liked it. Good portrayal of women doubting themselves but how if they shared their concerns/doubts then some hurt could have been avoided.

The ending was satisfying, although quick. I enjoyed the different character point of views, and the body wasn't who I thought it was. Everyone is right when they said it is similar to Agatha Christie. All in all, enjoyable.

I wasn’t into this book at first, however as I kept reading I got more into it. I loved how it went between present and the day before, it was a great way to keep me interested in the plot while building up the characters. Throughout the whole thing you know that someone dies, however you don’t know what happened. There are so many sub plots that wrap up so nicely at the end, and they’re easy to follow even though there’s a few of them. Overall I really enjoyed this book, and though I wasn’t super into it in the beginning my the end I was locked in and wanted to know what happens.

Ew trigger warnings seriously needed

Not sure how I feel about the use of present tense

I’m not sure I like any of the male characters. I liked Hannah a lot and the sisters a bit.

I liked having lots of different perspectives and timings, which I don’t usually enjoy. It kept a nice rhythm and pace.

I liked the relationship between Hannah and Olivia

I like the mystery of who dies

I have so many questions and that pushed me forward throughout the book

SpoilerI properly celebrated when Will died!!!

The fact that Will was also Hannah’s sister’s bf felt like it pushed me out of how realistic it was. It was too much. I don’t feel an ounce of pity for Will in spite of his father

I was kind of disappointed by the ending. After so much effort went into demonstrating that Will was the most vile horrible person who carries the guilt of so many lives ruined, being quietly and quickly stabbed didn’t feel like justice. I wish the truth had gotten out. I wish they all had their moment to confront him. I don’t like the lack of closure on the trial for Jono - I know he deserved to be sentenced for the manslaughter of the young boy, but I just have to imagine that all the truth came out in the trial and true justice was served after Will’s death. I wish that had played out in the book though.
