Emily Henry can do no wrong! I always fall in love with her characters and this time was no different with Charlie and Nora!

This book has all the right ingredients for me to love it, but it just didn’t quite click for me. I’m an eldest daughter who has a super close relationship with her sister, which is maybe why I could detect the missing authenticity.
I adored the love interest, but the entire love story was bogged down with all the quips. Like so many quips. Even Joss Whedon would baulk at the sheer volume of quips here.
Also, every time Libby called Nora ‘sissy’ it made me cringe so much that my bones now ache with post-cringe stress.
