Ashlynn is a marriage counsellor who has never experienced an orgasm, but she has experienced plenty of fake ones. Carson is a sex therapist and a co-worker of Ashlynn’s, the moment he see’s here he knows there is something special about her and something that she has been holding close to her heart. He wants to help her with whatever it is, but can he get her to open up to him?

Based on the blurb, I truly didn’t expect this story to be so emotional, but that is what I loved most about it. Despite the emotional parts, this story is still steamy. I was sucked into the story and I fell in love with Ashlynn and Carson. I was rooting for them battle their demons together.

I absolutely love Ashlynn and Carson. They are two broken individuals who are fighting their own demons, but together they can help each other. Not just with Ashlynn experiencing an orgasm (which spoiler alert: they do), but also with their demons. I truly felt for Ash, for her to keep her demon to herself for so long. My heart broke for her. Carson hasn’t had it easy in life either. The chemistry between him and Ashlynn definitely hot.

This is the first book I have read by M.C. Decker and I know it won’t be my last.

This book! Loved it!! It evoked so many feelings for me. I always enjoy a good love story, one that takes its time. This offers so much more. I love the friendships, the humor and the cat. We need that because this story isn’t all smiles and laughter. There are parts that ripped my heart out. Carson and Ashlynn might not have an easy road to travel but it’s totally worth the ride!
