This book was… intense. It was raw and passionate. It reflected the sad realities that many have faced in poor Trinidad society. The protagonist and everything he went through ached my heart. I was confused as to why he went along with everything and anything but then i realized that he was yoing, lost and just trying to find his way. And he found it. The ending was bittersweet. I wanted more for him but if that was his version of joy then
