Although, I think the addiction and treatment was really good representation. Some of it just felt off to me.

It wasn’t until the end of the story that I realize that their relationship didn’t seem stable. And a lot of be cliffhanger chapters felt unrealistic to the real world.

Other than that the pot was really good, especially since we didn’t really know if he did or not the thing about it is I really want to know what they saw in her face during the video?  If you know what I mean, do you know what I mean.

I’m pretty sure will see it in the second book but I don’t know if when I read second book because I don’t really like Tye as a significant other to Carter.

But who knows I might read it later on.

A True Love Story

Another great book by Kelsey Clayton. Jace and Paige’s story is heartbreaking because of Jace’s trauma from his past and Paige’s family situation but their love is a prime example of love conquers all. Their story was a mixed of several of my favorite romance genres. Best friend romance, Second chance romance, and enemies to lovers romance. From the moment Paige and Jace lay eyes on each other again you root for them because they need each to live. This story is a true love story that has you smiling the entire time because you know that they are meant for each other. I recommend this book and any books from Kelsey Clayton series Haven Grace Prep or North Haven University.

Change My Game is the second book in the North Haven University series. This book can be read as a standalone. I read book one, and enjoyed the books together, but think they would be enjoyable by themselves as well! This book is told from dual points of view from Jace and Paige.

Jace and Paige were best friends growing up. They started seeing each other their Senior year, however ended up going to different colleges, and Paige just dropped Jace without letting him know. She was in love with him, but didn't feel he felt the same.

Now two years later she is back due to a family thing, and Jace has gone through his own trauma he is trying to forget. He has turned to drugs to try to get through life, and doesn’t really care about school. Paige came back from her school to be with her dad who is sick. Jace wants nothing to do with Paige, after she ghosted him. Carter (Jace's roommate and their friend) gets ahold of Paige and asks for her help with Jace.

Paige tries to help Jace, but does Jace want the help? Can he recover from his trauma he went through. Can Paige handle it with what is going on with her dad. Is she strong enough? There were so many things I didn’t see coming.

This book was amazing. I can not wait for the next book in the series!

Jace Landon is the epitome of the trouble tattooed bad boy that you can’t help but want to “fix”. After spiralling down a never ending dark rabbit hole of insecurities, dark thoughts and anxieties, Paige comes back from his past to do just that, help fix him up. After acting like an A Grade Ahole, he finally realises that life with Paige in it is worth living and that he has to do everything he can to redeem him self in her eyes. Paige is so strong, after dealing with her personal kind of hell and then coming and sticking by Jace, she is the most selfless, kind hearted and generous character. Change my Game is an emotional roller coaster of laughs, tears and “oh my” moments. You definitely don’t want to miss this instalment of the Hawthorn series.

**ARC PROVIED FOR AN HONEST REVIEW**

Oh my god. Kelsey has done it again. And again I'm dying for more. Zayn has always been my favorite guy. But boy let me tell you jace is right on his coat tail. This book had everything suspense danger darkness crazy romance . I promise once you pick this book up you will not be able to put it down ,Well not until you finish it. And even then you will say to yourself wtf I want and need more!!!! You will not be disappointed with jace. Most parts of Paige and Jace's relationship every girl wishes for at one point in time. That child hood love, and soul mate. They are the perfect complement to one another .

I read this before corrupt my mind not knowing it was a companion Novell series. It was better than the first but I really hated the stories conflict. It was so frustrating. I understand that he was traumatised but it just kept going and it was so tiring and honestly tedious. But I’m a sucker for this stuff. So I continued to the end. The plot could definitely have been so much more if the author cut the book a bit shorter and just stuck to the original part.
SpoilerI honestly think the whole murder thing would be a better story than their romance.
