One Punch man is a good series as long as you read it with the knowledge and mindset that it's satire. One Punch Man is riddled with holes and ridiculousness as a feature in order to mock the shounen genre as a whole, as well as the ridiculously overpowered superhero main characters like Goku, Superman, and The Hulk whose respective stories have little in the way of quality in almost any critical regards. That being said, if one were to look at One Punch Man without knowing about its satirical purpose, they would most likely be abhorred as well as confused. The jokes are funny at times but after a while, they fall flat, the action is well drawn and choreographed but the knowledge that no matter what, the enemy will always be beaten with a single punch dulls the suspense and says more about the long stagnant genres and series its mocking than any other quip it makes.
