I enjoy these books for the most part. I like the different take on becoming a vampire, but I'm really really really REALLY tired of Nefert! Seriously, kill her already and get to another bad guy! It drives me crazy! I'm still going to purchase the next book when it comes out, I hope that it gets better.

It's more like 2 1/4 stars, but I rounded up. I seem to have a love/hate relationship with these books. Really, is the series ever going to end?

While I am ready for the series to end (in 2 more books) I am so happy to see that PC and Kristin Cast have continued to pour their time, efforts, and mostly their love into this series!! So commonly at this point in a series we find the author(s) have lost their passion and drive that once brought them to write the books and the series in the first place. Which, in turn, makes the books/series suffer because of it.
Started off strong. Fast paced. This was the first time I don't feel like there are so many loose ends waiting for the next book. There wasn't the normal 'cliff hanger' type ending. I was left satisfied.

This is my guilty pleasure series of my teenage years. Very slowly doing a re read of it.

Not the best in this series at all. When is she just going to finish it and be done with it??? Its like it drags on and on and on and on. I might not even read the last book as I have gotten bored with them

This was a hard one to get into. I think this story could have been wrapped up awhile ago.

Okay I do admit I did love this installment in the series. I had been scared due to some of the books lacking interest.
I must say Zoey is not my favorite character because she is really is a child as she is told in the book. All she does is complain instead of using all her powers to get rid of evils.
I'm over her crying and complaining all the damn time honestly.
Im happy that they have turned to writing from other character point of views so we dont have to be Zoeys head all the time.
But this one did have some good action and a good plot. I did enjoy it.
