Thank you Netgalley and publishers for the chance to read and review this book.

This was a four star rating. I liked how this took in a short time, it flowed nice. I actually liked the family and friends dynamic part of the plot more than the romance. The love interests plot was ok, but I liked them as characters by themselves.

Also my favorite part of the book was the house. It sounded so cool with all the attics and hiding places.

I will say this is not my favorite of Sophie Kinsella’s books, but as always loved the characters and the storyline. Went through the book very quickly and enjoyed reading it.

I seem to have somehow missed several Sophie Kinsella books that have come out since the last one I read. I will be rectifying that. This one was so cute and fun. Some of hers are hit or miss, but this was a hit.

I really adored this book. Although it features a romance, the book is more about family dynamics and the funny situations that Effie finds herself in. I adored Effie and her siblings. They made me laugh. And Dr. Joe was suitably chivalrous. I’m working my way through listening to Sophie Kinsella’s back catalogue and I’m yet to find a bad book.
