Hmmm. The romance was cute and I really like the use of facts and humour by narrator and characters. It was predictable but I don’t mind.

SpoilerNot comfortable with how the Guy storyline was handled. I wish the main two had spotted the problem earlier and worked together to detect the cause and impact of Guy.

Cute :) It was nice to read enemies to lovers that was genuinely executed well for a change. I enjoyed the feminist themes in this book as well, a lot. Very similar to the love hypothesis, but so much better. If you liked that book then you'll love this one.

Ali Hazelwood has managed to kidnap my brain, my heart, and my 🐱 on this one. I finished it in less than 26 hours — started it at work one day and finished it the next. I fell in love with the characters and desperately needed to see more. I cried at least 8 times and it was worth it. But seriously, if someone makes a real Levi Ward, give me a call. Please. I beg of you. I told my boyfriend he’s gonna have to read this one. And now you have to too. Just read it. Fall in love with two giant NASA nerds. Just do ittt

While I did not enjoy this book as much as The Love Hypothesis I did really enjoy the story. Ali Hazelwood is able to create real characters that I truly care about. This book had me laughing, rolling my eyes, and wanting me to yell at the characters to just kiss already. The chemistry between Bee and Levi was absolutely *chefs kiss* and I loved some of the fun pop culture references. I always enjoy the STEM-inist themes in Ali Hazelwood’s books, she is easily becoming a favorite and auto-buy for me.

What can I say, I’m a sucker for Ali Hazelwood and her “STEMinist” novels. This is thoroughly cute and enjoyable. We do fall into the typical Hazelwood trap of “he’s SO HUGE” and “she’s so small” but at this point I’m used to it, it’s clearly her thing. The characters are quirky and I love them all, but Rocio stole my heart. I imagine her to be a scientist version of Aubrey Plaza.

Now, I’ll say my same critique that I’ve said about nearly everything she’s written: I do not and will not ever understand why she feels the need to write about choosing unsafe sex. And this is in EVERY BOOK she writes. Not a single condom in sight. Not a single conversation about being tested. These people are scientists! It’s fiction, so whatever, but normalizing the “it’s okay, I’m on birth control” narrative is harmful. I’ll get off my soapbox now.

"It is a truth universally acknowledged that a community of women trying to mind their own business must be in want of a random man’s opinion."

After loving "The Love Hypothesis", I decided to read this book. Imagine my surprise when I discover that this book has the same structure that the previous one. Really, its the same story with differente character names.
In other book, I might give a bad rating because its the exact same story and this book made me waste my time. However, I can't. Not in this book.
Why? Because it's so damn  entertaining. I had fun reading this book! Never a boring moment.
So, I'll give a 3 stars rating, but if you're considering reading this book, just know that this is a repetition of the previous romance.
