This was a beautifully written story about Cynthia and John Lennon. Cynthia’s story was raw and honest. She shared the many wonderful moments between her and John as well as the heartbreaking pieces to their story. I like how she was never disrespectful even when sharing about the hurtful things she endured. I highly recommend this to any fan of the Beatles who wants to know more about what took place behind the scenes of the Lennon household.

More people should read this. I mean it. All the legends we think of when it comes to John and even Yoko can be debunked through Cynthia and Julian’s story. A story that isn’t told enough in Beatles history

Minor: Suicidal thoughts and Abortion

A warm, loving, nuanced perspective of Lennon's life and art. It is a must-read for any fan. For all the painful events here compiled, no resentment is directed at any of the people involved. It is also a precious record of a unique time period that ties together the glamorous and the mundane.
Graphic: Body shaming, Confinement, Domestic abuse, Drug use, Suicidal thoughts, Toxic relationship, Grief, and Pregnancy
