I liked this one a bit better than the first! Cameron is intense, yes, but I didn’t feel like it was too much which I felt with Easton at some times. Paisley was relatable and I loved her friendship with Willow. Wasn’t a fan of the third act breakup, which is something I appreciated about the first book because it didn’t have it. Overall, fun read, especially when you have Easton and Drew make appearances throughout!

Sports romance, fast paced, trainer + baseball player

It was cute, the meet cute was nice. It had the usual miscommunication at the end for the climax, it was annoying and so obvious like just talk to your dad. I loved that they made her sweat it out for a day as payback for not just talking to them after she overheard them talking.

⭐️ 5 "Life-Changing" Stars ⭐️
I feel like I'm always repeating myself when it comes to Kaylee Ryan, but her romances are the sweetest! Beyond the Game was such a great sports romance with an instant attraction that slowly and beautifully built between Paisley and Cameron.

I read book one in Kaylee Ryan's Out of Reach series, Beyond the Bases, three years ago when it first came out and I loved it, but never expected another book in this series. So when I saw a few months ago that the series was continuing with none other than Larissa and Easton's Princess P, Paisley Monroe I was beyond ecstatic. I don't know if I loved Beyond the Game more than Beyond the Bases but it was definitely very close. I know that the next two books are going to be about Paisley's two sisters, Parker and Peyton, but I was just really hoping to read the love story of Paisley's BFF Willow and Cameron teammate, Henderson. But one can hope for a short story or something.
Growing up as the daughter of a baseball legend Paisley Monroe has a love of baseball and a weariness for people who just want to use her. So when she meets handsome Cameron at a game she knows there's something between them, especially after the kiss cam kiss. But Paisley has always wanted a love story like her parents had so when Cameron asks for her number she tells him that they'll meet again if fate wants them to and fate sure does want them together... Cameron is brought up to the Blaze's baseball team from the minors, where she works as an athletic trainer and he ends up being her neighbor. But even with all that Paisley isn't sure if she is ready for that relationship.
Cameron knows that after that kiss with Paisley that she's it for him, but he can't convince her to give him her number. But fate is on his side when he finds out she works for Blaze as well and they live right next to one another, he just needs to convince Paisley what he already knows....

I think it is really cool that instead of this series following Easton’s teammates, it jumps to his kids. Paisley is the oldest of his kids and has lived and breathed baseball ever since Easton and her mom meet. Now she has a her dream jump with his old team, but there is one hiccup. The man she meet at a random game in the stands that she felt a connection to is their newest player. Cameron wants a shot with Paisley but her working for the team makes her keep her distance. This one was just as cute and fun as the first book. I love this family so much and can’t wait to watch the other girls fall and Easton’s reaction to it all.

Wow..

I read the first book in the series and I wasn't completely sure I was going to like this one. Then I started reading it and I fell in love with this book the first book in my opinion there wasn't as much action. Anyways I'm in love with this book and nothing can change my mind.

This book was going good. It was super cringey at times but whatever. That was until we got to the last couple of chapters. That little miscommunication and assuming plot point at the end was completely unnecessary and almost ruined the book for me. Besides that it was okay. Not something super special but it was good and short. Nice quick read if you need something just for an afternoon. For me it’s a 3/5
