This was a really quick read and I loved the art. This book is filled with gore and violence so warning for that it’s definitely 18+. I liked the story and wanted to keep reading until I was done, I did get a bit confused throughout it but as it went on I started to understand more. Definitely gonna read the next book and if you like dark fantasy/horror I would definitely recommend this book.

description

I hardly ever read graphic novels, but wanted to give this one a try when it was offered to me. I absolutely loved the art in this novel. I was interested to see which direction the author would take the story. What I liked the most were the characters: Satori, Star and Lilith. All three were very complicated characters. I especially enjoyed Lilith's dark and twisted actions. She is a very evil demon and that is shown really well in this novel. She is also a very sensual and sexual creature and uses that greatly to her advantage. It wasn't difficult for her to ensnare Star into her world. What I didn't like as much was that it felt like I was dropped in the middle of the story, there wasn't a lot of back story and everything also felt a bit rushed. I needed more character development, especially for the relationship of Star and Satori. Also not having read that many graphic novels before, it was sometimes hard for me to figure out the right order of the dialogue. Overall it was an okay read for me, but I am curious to see what will happen next.
