This was an okay parody.

The story followed the story line of Gone Girl almost completely until the end.

I did laugh out loud a few times at some of the things that Nick Dunne came up with.

It was a nice, quick read and an okay filler.

Several years ago, I saw 'Vampire Sucks' on TV and I ended up laughing the entire movie. I didn't like Gone Girl very much and this parody is kinda funny minus the sexual part. Which is like predominant.

I won a copy through a goodreads' giveaway.

This free copy was unable to hold my interest. The story descended head first into obvious caricature and cliche. It was neither clever, nor funny. I'm glad I didn't pay money for it.

Avoid.

A quickie read with a few laugh out loud moments. The title is self explanatory. Many incidents are ditto gone girl, but the are few alternate directions which show quite a different side of Amy and Nick.
I enjoyed most parts, but only a 2 at the most 3 star rating because it's just a parody with nothing much to offer in the form of insight or knowledge.

I hated every minute of reading this book. I read the first chapter, and I KNEW a white man wrote it. And bada-bing bada-boom, it is! Parodies are meant to be funny, not annoying, and literal shit.
