first Palahniuk book I’ve read and I love his writing stylei. One of my favorite things about it was just how often the narrator slips into the second person for prolonged periods of time. The distance and sameness between Tyler Durden and the narrator; the distance and sameness between the narrator and you.

Probably a lot more relatable than it should’ve been, but what can I say—I’m a working class communist insomniac who has loads of intrusive thoughts about violence and spends most of their time feeling simultaneously suicidal and terrified of death.
