I loved this book.
It is a quite story. There are no fights all to time. But it is powerfully. There are gods involved in the story but it is not overwhelming.

It is not just the story of Achilles but also the story of Patroclus.

Ich hatte sehr hohe Erwartungen...Der Großteil des Buchs hat mich nicht begeistern können, das Ende fand ich jedoch sehr beeeindruckend! 
Ich musste mich oft durchkämpfen, fand es nicht besonders spannend und oft sehr langatmig. Ich hätte mir mehr Dialoge gewünscht und habe lange gebraucht eine Bindung zu den Figuren aufzubauen. 
Und dann kam das Ende..
Es war so berührend und tragisch und schön und hat mich unerwartet sehr getroffen. Würde das Buch also weiterempfehlen wenn man ein paar Tränchen aushält.
