I saw this on Kobo plus and I thought why not? I took my time and read a story here and there throughout the month. Steamy short stories, definitely nsfw, some more so than others. Overall, it was ok.

If you want to read some spicy short stories in the Christmas vein, this is for you. I read it particularly for Sierra Simone because she consistently makes me looks at new tropes in ways I was not anticipating enjoying. Also, basing a story on a Folger's coffee commercial - brilliant. It was both funny and spicy.

I also discovered Nikki Sloane here too. I have her books on the TBR now. I have seen then on BookTok but wasn't really intrigued. After her Day 7 story, I very much am. Love a good throuple!

Deck the halls and ring the bells, Twelve Naughty Days is the perfect kinky present under the tree. Thank you naughty Santa, this was a fantastic season diversion full of super steamy holiday treats that will get you all hot and bothered.

Themed around the twelve days of Christmas, this anthology is jam packed with some of romance’s most talented authors, many of whom I see as masters the fine art of balancing poetic prose and epic storytelling with scorching smut. Each delivers a unique short story, most of which are fantastic show cases of their writing style. And, a few are a bit, well, unexpected and unusual. In terms of my favorites, a few really popped with compelling stories and TONS of steam.

In a surprise to absolutely no one, two of the sexiest stories are delivered by favorites Fiona Cole and Nikki Sloane. Fiona Cole’s Goner takes us back to my FAVORITE series of hers, the Voyeur world and it is full of all the kinky play and dirty talk I love about that series. Amara and Atlas have insane chemistry, and it made me want to go back and re-read the entire series. SO HOT! And Nikki’s On the 6th Day features a throuple Travis, Clay, and Lilith. They plan on sharing their relationship with their families during the holiday, and it also includes some yummy scenes with them all together and some exploration. I’ve actually not read their full story (from the Architect) but the dynamics between them are really fantastic, and I feel like an excellent and meaningful depiction of a polyamorous trio. I loved them and want to read their book.

What was surprising was Skye Warren’s contribution and M Malone’s. Two Turtle Doves, Skye’s contribution is a story that was incredibly sweet and tender featuring fan favorites Avery and Gabriel from the Pawn. It’s a sweet tribute to this relationship, as Gabriel gives us alpha and devoted in the swooniest way. It’s quite nostalgic and family focused- a nice season tribute to the power of family and love. M. Malone is an author that I’m not familiar with- but I really enjoyed Gift Me. It’s like a super sexy hallmark movie, perhaps the most relatable premise in the anthology - the chemistry and characters were both great and it was both steamy and adorable. I’ll be checking out this author more.

I was most looking forward to Giana Darling’s contribution Swan Song and holy moly it did not disappoint! Giana treats us to a peak into Finnegan (whom we know from the the Fallen Men series as Curtains) in his pre-Fallen men. We get to see his friendship from his hacker work with enigmatic hacker Swan-who have a brief but precious moment. Clearly impactful to who this man is/becomes, and I am desperate for more of their story. And MAD bonus for some Zeus!

All in all, a great anthology- and one that benefits a very important charity, the Trevor Project. A perfect Christmas treat- a little bit sweet, and a lot naughty. Totally worth being on the naughty list!

This is something that will warm you up on these cold wintery nights! In other wards..... it's HOT! Most of the stories (if not all) are taken from previously released books by the authors. The short stories are each new, but are like bonuses to characters/stories you may already be familiar with. You do not need to have read any other books to follow, but it's a little more special if you have met the characters before. This is definitely a book for mature readers. Each story can be read rather quickly, and you can read in any order (if you want to skip to certain authors.) It's also a great intro into the writing style and the characters if you are unfamiliar with them. Some of the characters may have been side characters, while others were the Hero/Heroine in the original books. Obviously, this is centered around the Christmas holiday, though some of the stories have more of the spirit and others it just happens to be taking place at that time of year without as much of the holiday hoopla.

I read all of the short stories, but I read Swan Song by Giana Darling (Curtain's story) for the Twisted and Taboo readathon in September 2022. I really enjoyed getting to know Curtain, a side character in the Fallen Men series. His story is sad, but he is a great character. He's a hacker, looking for justice for him mother, meeting his woman, and how he meet Zeus and the Fallen Men. It's worth reading.

How great! I have been able to read several of these stories today around cookie making and I've enjoyed all of them, though I haven't read every single one, here are a few of my favorites:
Swan Song by Giana Darling
OK so I mainly loved it because of Zeus Garro's cameo, but really this author sets these two on fire. Left me big time wanting more time in the Fallen MC world!
My Present This Year by Sierra Simone
Super hot! It's all the yummy taboo heat this author is known for in a snack size package!
Goner by Fiona Cole
This author is a favorite of mine and I've been patiently waiting for more words. OMG I've been a fan since Voyeur, this night at the club is shaping up nicely for Amara! And we get a little cameo with Ian and Carina, straight up set my kindle ablaze lol!
Four Calling Birds by Nana Malone
I love this author bringing us more Bryna and Lucas! This was just as hot as the other stories, but with the bonus of some suspense and trademark humor, I enjoyed our Winston Isles throwback!
The rest are likely just as good but those are the ones I remember the most, I'll edit if I end up getting a chance to read more this weekend!

This is a fantastic anthology filled with great short reads by authors I love and some that are new to me. I'll admit I didn't read them all as some were continuations of books I haven't read yet and one or two didn't hold my interest. But the ones I did read I loved. I have to say though my absolute favorite was Swan Song. I now want Curtains to have his own HEA, preferably with Obsidian Swan in the future ❤

I love Christmas stories. They help remind me of the joy and love that hides underneath all of the work we do to make Christmas magical. But adding a bit of naughty to Christmas stories makes them even better.

*I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review*

Great anthology!

K.A. Linde is one of my favorite authors. I love Katherine and Camden and was super excited to read about them once again. I’m also extremely happy that it was the first story in this book because I would have skipped ahead.

Twelve Naughty Days is a collection of steamy novellas by some truly incredible authors. I did not expect to need a fan in the middle of winter but, good lawd, these novellas were red hot!

ONE CRUEL WEDDING NIGHTS
4 stars
Cruel Marriage is one of my favorite book by K.A. Linde. So I was very please to get a spicy glimpse of Katherine Van Pelt and Camden Percy’s raw, angsty, arranged marriage.

TWO TURTLE DOVES by Skye Warren
4 stars
This novella was sweet. Two Turtle Doves follows Gabriel and Avery as they prepare to welcome their daughter. I’m not familiar with this couple but I’m extremely curious about their journey after reading this novella.

GONER by Fiona Cole
5 stars
Holy hotness!! Fiona Cole delivered one steamy, sultry novella. It feels so good to be back at Voyeur. Goner is every bit as addicting and entertaining as I would expected from this world. This novella follows Amara and Atlas as they give in to their attraction for one another.

FOUR CALLING BIRDS by Nana Malone
4.5 stars
Who doesn’t enjoy a good, sexy heist? I really liked this one. It was fun. It had great character chemistry. And, I loved Nana's writing. I already downloaded Lucas and Bryna's book because I need more of them.

FIVE GOLDEN RINGS by Claire Contreras
4 stars
Five Golden Rings was a fast paced, instalove-y celebrity romance with a dash of unrequited love. I liked it.

ON THE SIXTH DAY by Nikki Sloane
4 stars.
I need to read whatever book contains this throuple because this was hawt! I loved the dynamic between Lilith, Clay and Travis.

SWAN SONG by Giana Darling
5 stars
Giana Darling always delivers. Part of the Fallen Men world, Swan Song brought the heat and the action. This novella, more than any of the others, had me clinging to my kindle in anticipation. I'm so happy we got Curtains story. I hope we get more in the future.

MY PRESENT THIS YEAR by Sierra Simone
4.5 stars
The fact that Sierra Simone wrote a steamy, taboo novella based on an old Folders commercial already is a win. This novella was kinky and forbidden and if I'm honest a bit unsettling. Yet, I really enjoyed it.

NINE LADIES DANCING by CD Reiss
I couldn’t finish this one. Sci-fi romances are not for me.

TEN DIRTY DEMANDS by Laurelin Paige
5 stars
Loved! This follows Sabrina and Donovan Kincaid from the Dirty duet. In exchange for Donovan wearing a Santa suit at a staff Christmas party Sabrina agrees to ten demands. And, yes, as the title states they're dirty. Deliciously so.

GIFT ME by M. Malone
5 stars
Gift Me was my favorite in the anthology. This story was a cute neighbors romance with some great together. I love Noelle and Deacon. They're so perfect togther. This is my first dose of M. Malone's writing. I can guarantee that it won't be my last.

TWELVE DRUMMERS by Angelina M. Lopez
3 stars
This was fine. Not my favorite but it was really hot.
