Another fun haunted guesthouse mystery - this one branches out of the house into her mom's senior community and we finally get to meet her dad.

Unlike the others in Haunted Guesthouse, this book felt flat. It seemed to be missing the humor, the warmth even, that the others had. While this so far was my least favorite in the series, I do plan to finish and hope Thrill of the Haunt delivers more of what I loved at the start.

There is some weirdness surround a trans character that has not aged well.
