3.5 — For the most part, the Death of Vivek Oji was a really beautiful and important exploration of sexual identity. The prose was also really beautiful. I wish I could get rate this higher but I can’t get past 1) the dropped story line of Vivek “episodes” where he blacks out, 2) how Vivek/Nnemdi died, 3) the incest. Three pretty big plot points that took away from the story as a whole for me
