This book was recommended to me by someone who reads the big-name erotic comics (Oglaf, etc.) I was actively turned off by the first several chapters because of the pervasive cishet sexism, male-gazey tropes, and intense slut-shaming by one particular character. By the last two chapters, the main characters had grown on me and I was genuinely enjoying their rapport. I'm probably going to continue reading the series if it keeps on its current path trending away from the clumsy tropeyness that made the exposition so arduous to read.
