I knew I was going to love this family and this town. Quinn slides right into Juliet’s life before she even realizes how deep he’s gotten. He does it with such smoothness and confidence, I couldn’t help but be amused.
Juliet has to keep her past a secret. She didn’t grow up in a conventional family, and this has caused her life to be in danger. She admires and loves the people she’s met in her new small town and doesn’t want to hurt them or bring evil to their doorstep. It’s not so easy to extricate herself from everything, especially once she agrees to a fake relationship to help Quinn out.
I love a fake relationship. There’s always such tension between the couple. Will they, won’t they, and once they do where will it lead? It’s so yummy!
When Juliet’s past comes back to haunt her, things turn high stakes. This story is all sorts of fun, strain, chemistry, and action.
