amazing. coryo, you’re fucking evil, power hungry, schizophrenic, and a murderer. a singer from district 12 literally outsmarted you. sejanus deserved better.

I’m so glad I listened to this because I wouldn’t have been able to actually read the book. This book was so boring and disappointing compared to the original Hunger Games. I didn’t care for any of the characters and the reasons behind Coriolanus ending up the way he did were weak at best.

I enjoyed reading this book, not as much as the regular hunger games series tho. This book was a little more tame. I couldn’t care for Snows origin story, but it was nice to know how he got to be. To be who he ended up being, I thought he had gone through worse trauma than Katniss

Finally got the time for this book. It's like a nostalgic journey back to my teenage years when I met Panem for the first time! This book had a somewhat slow pace, which, thankfully, wasn't boring or dull. We get a good glimpse into the life of President Snow and why he is the way he is, as well as a some of the history of the Hunger Games. To be honest, I'd love some more prequel-like books.
