It wasn't bad for a thriller. It kept me on my toes and made me want to keep reading, but it was a bit too real for me and I don't think I was in the right mindset for it.

Very good quick read on my Kindle. Definetly had some twists I was not expecting.

A solid crime novels with very little flaws. We follow Detective White on her search for her daughter which turns into an investigation of young girls being killed. The investigations were interesting, with enough twists and mystery to keep you hooked.
For me, the book felt a little quick and forced with White's relationship with Jericho. I'm not really here for the everyone-finds-him-handsome trope; and the fact that
she moves to Outer Banks by the end of the book was a bit far fetched, especially if her daughter is potentially fleeing risk of Outer Banks?

However, I will be considering picking up the next book in this series to see where it goes next!
