Good, but it had the potential to be more.

If you’re in the mood for something light and YA- this is the vampire book for you.

I didn't like it for some odd reason. The main character seem bitchy toe and I couldn't get over that.

I loved how this book was it's own thing. I mean it had freaking unicorns, how different is that for a vampire book!? It also makes fun or references popular vampire flicks, which always amuses me. The main character, Pearl, is alright. She's interesting (especially compared to certain females in vamp stories *cough cough* twilight *cough cough*, but I don't love her that much, which is basically how I feel about this book. Unique, but overall just okay.

This week's been very busy but I've got the perfect breather when I needed one. Drink, Slay, Love is definitely a stress reliever. Will probably be reading this book from now on every time I feel stressed and tired with school and life.

This was way more up my alley than I was ever expecting it be.

Blood-sucking, badass vamps plus sparkly, awesome unicorns? This book delivered it all! And what's more, it delivered everything well without ever being ridiculous.

I would want to go into detail (you know the characters, plot etc.) but I think my rating said it all since I didn't really expect much on this book from the beginning. This book is just fun! It was hilarious, sweet and highly entertaining. It's not all fluff either, the characters are all quirky and the plot isn't dull. I love how our vamp, Pearl, tries to fit in and struggle with human emotions while facing growing problems with her Family. The book is also not too much on the romance but it definitely has a cute one. I just hate that it left me hanging and feel really disappointed that this doesn't have sequels.
SpoilerI mean, I wanted more! I wanted to find out what happen to Pearl's Family and to the king, if whether they turned or whatnot!
But anyway, if you wanted a really nice vampire story with strong, funny characters and of course, unicorns (come on, who wouldn't?), you ought to check this book out!
