I’ve been on a holiday book spree lately (even if it’s not seen on the blog). I need a good dose of the holiday spirit. I was really hoping that Holiday House Swap would inject me with a big ol’ dose. And while it was definitely cute, sweet and flirty, it just didn’t do it for me. I enjoyed it but there were not a lot of feels and I didn’t feel the holiday magic.

Noah was definitely adorable though in an absent minded professor type of way. He made me giggle and smile a bit. Connor was stubborn and independent. The tension between the two is pretty hot at times. The character development is spot on. These guys are complex, flawed and temperamental in their own ways. There’s witty banter, fun flirty and snark flying back and forth in the air. I loved the way their journey unfolded.

Overall, it was an enjoyable read. It wasn’t quite the holiday pick me up I was expecting nor was it as emotional as I hoped once I started to read. That being said, it is still worth a read if you’re an M/M fan. Madison is skilled at creating believable characters that you want to root on, get to know and/or heal.
