Enjoyabl  and lots of good spice. M/M/F/M with sword crossing. Omegaberse with no shifting. Lots of fluids. Mild bdsm elements. Voyeurism. Breeding.

Amazing omegaverse read. It may look like a thick one (pun intended) and it is but the slick helps ease you into it (pun also intended) . Loved the relationship building throughout this and the character development. It all felt natural yet intense. A really well written book with great chemistry between the characters and a story which really focused on them all coming together as a pack (last pun I promise) enjoy!

✅️ Omegaverse (non-shifter)
✅️ Reverse Harem (w/MM ⚔️)
✅️ Lots & Lots of Kinks
✅️ Mulitple POV

⚠️ Mating, Breeding, Scenting

First, I would like to say thanks to the author for putting the omegaverse description and explanation in the beginning of the book. Even though I have read omegaverse in the past, this helped with why things happened in this story. 🙌💕

Next, I need to state that if you are not open to reading MM- there is a lot in here.

In fact, this baby is loaded with smexy times all around! 🥵 I'm talking she made a list of kinks, positions, pairings within the group- and checked them ALL off! 😆🥵🥵🥵🌶🌶
(Exp: DP, DVP, TP- diff 🕳, praise, fetish, BDSM, brat taming, exhibition, etc.)

Starts off with Emily (36yrs) having to go to a heat clinic (free clinic) for her heat cycle. This is where she meets her first packmate Sam (28 yrs, beta), who worked there. Sam was so flipping cute with the dirtiest mouth! 😍

Then while in the 'heat of the moment' 😉😉 (hehe) she meets her alpha, Marcus.
Super possesive and dominant ✔️

Marcus (42yrs) is excited to have sniffed out his mate and calls in his original packmate Tom, to come meet Emily. ❤️
Oh Tom and his instigating ways.... 🤭

This was a super cute story and I really enjoyed it. 🤩🫠

There was lots of emphasis on scent and breeding- that was different for me. Felt more like monster smut I read. 😂

I also really enjoyed the 'no breakup in the 3rd act'. It was strictly their story. ❤️😍✅️

Thank you BookSirens for the opportunity to read and voluntarily review this free eARC!

4⭐️ 5🌶️
CW: Provided by author before chapter 1.
MOOD: cozy, steamy, funny
TROPES: omegaverse, instalove, instalust, polyamory, bdsm/fetish-lite
FAV QUOTE: The way his purr makes my body feel calmer makes my head more panicked. I'm...horny yet terrified, but hopeful too.

THE GOOD: This is a great introduction to the Heatverse; although the title did make me think of Heat Haven, it is a very different book. I did like that these were older characters ranging from 28-42 and Emily (the omega) is 36. There's the protective broody alpha, some bratty betas, and an omega who doesn't ask for what she wants. It felt like a duet - with the first and second halves having different overall vibes but I enjoyed that it was one book. And yes, I am the person that picked it up because of the line "it's the literary equivalent of a bunch of fetish gear tossed into a dumpster and set on fire"

THE NEUTRAL: Based on the above line, I was expecting more? Maybe my brain is really in the dumpster. The CW list is extensive and as far as I noticed covered everything.

THE MEH: I don't want to put any spoilers in this but some of the family relationships mentioned weren't really developed until necessary for one plot moment and that felt a little forced.

I would say avoid this book if you don't like MM, lots of group scenes. praise/degradation, public & semi-public scenes.

DISCLAIMER: I received an ARC through BookSirens for my honest review.
