Perfect conclusion to the trilogy, everything wraps up super nicely. I never thought I will enjoy this as much as I did. Elora turned out to be a good mother, that is so sad as we only see a little of her. I'm so thrilled that my ship is sailing <3 Overall this is a great book filled with actions, romance, politics, and all the good stuffs.

My favorite book out of the trilogy. Had me guessing until the very end. Ms. Hocking kept the trilogy interesting :^)

Such a sweet ending, although it was a little uncreative in some parts.

Book 1 for the #xmasbooktubeathon complete.

Ascend, the third book in this series did not disappoint. I really enjoy Amanda Hocking’s writing style. I’m not sure what it is but I am captivated by it and it is never unsatisfying. I think Hocking did a good job tying up this trilogy without it seeming forced or too simple. Wendy had to face her father and was able to defeat him and protect her family. One thing that bothered me just from a practical standpoint was the lack of true casualties. While I understand they have healers, it would have been more realistic to have more casualties.

I’m very happy with how this book went and it was another quick read for me. While these books are not amazing, they are incredible enjoyable and that is why I have given them such high ratings. This is a solid trilogy about trolls. And the trolls alone was enough to entice me when reading this series. The writing style was an added bonus.

This is a short review but since it is the last book in the trilogy I do not want to spoil anything for anyone.

Liked the trilogy and LOVED Loki! But at times I feel like Hocking made everything and everyone has a happy ending, which isn't what usually happens after a war.

I'm not entirely sure why I finished this series, other than the fact that somehow I liked the first book. (And the fabulous covers, which I should not judge books by, yet tend to anyway) Hocking's writing isn't anything to get excited about, but the series as a whole was a quick, easy read. To be honest, there wasn't much to it. I disliked Wendy. (It didn't help she was a flighty slut, to be blunt) I disliked the invented troll societies. Most of all, I disliked how Hocking related events at the beginning of chapters without writing them. I want to read about them happening, not quickly related like a progress report. It just felt extremely tossed together and choppily written. The story left a lot to be desired, as did the characterization, which is my favorite part of any story.

Amanda Hocking is amazing. She captures a whole world within her books and makes me think that this world might actually be possible(haha jk Im not crazy).

The world of the Trylle is utterly amazing. Wendy(main character) is a great heroine and she never takes no for an answer.

This ending to the Trylle series was perfect. There are certain ways that, I as a reader, want books in every series to end. It was like I created the ending.

In the dramatic conclusion we see new relationships bud as well as other be destroyed.

I really don't have anything bad to say about this book. I only have high praises.

Wendy is one of the strongest heroines I have ever read about and she's only 18. She fights ruthlessly but she has a grace about it. Wendy never gives up even when she knows she might die.

Just read it! You'll love it!!!!! :)

I’m dnfing this for now. It’s not bad – I’m just not in the right mood for it and I’m tired of it being on my currently reading shelf.

And a happily ever after! The plot was absolutely amazing. Everything turned out so well: the King is gone, Finn has become history and Loki and Wendy are finally united. The way the war was won relied too much on luck but I really didn’t know how else they would’ve gotten out of the mess Oren had made. All in all, a great conclusion to a great story!
