Still loving Smith. Not loving the pushing away, but can't fault the reasoning and it didn't keep me from devouring this second book in mere hours. I am confused as to why he did what he did at the end. Only one way to find out.

The Characters where kind of annoying at times and the plot also wasn't that good.
But it was an enjoyable reread all in all.

3.5 Stars / 5
I was super excited about this book, because the 4th one in this series (the first one that deals with Smith and Belle) was super good!
Now in this one, Smith kind of broke down, and the whole macho ordeal went right out the window. He was protective, but a little too much of a wuss for my taste. The smart banter I came to love in the first book, turned into worrying about Belle, and Belle getting hurt and needing to be saved - so much for a strong heroine.

With that said, I still adored this book, and if given the opportunity, I would read the series again! I just compare this to the rating I gave the 4th book, and it just wasn't as good.

I absolutely love Belle and Smith!!! The drama, love, and sex scenes are incredible. Smith is the type of man I would dream and love to have in my corner. Belle is exactly what he needs and desires. Excited to see how this one ends and who the next subject is!!

This series just keeps getting better and better!!
