I have been a fan of horror from my first Wes Craven film. Stephen King? Bring it on. Clive Barker? Nothing to it. There isn't a book I've read in the genre so far that has given me a second thought or interrupted my sleep.

Until now.

I'll say right now that although I am a horror fan, I'm typically not a fan of horror anthologies. I always end up being disappointed with at least one of the stories included within and always end up disappointed with the entire volume.

Until now.

From the very beginning, the stories contained within the pages of Terror Nova caught - and kept - my attention. By the time I was a quarter of the way though, I was hooked. By the halfway mark, the world around me had disappeared and I felt as though I was a passenger on the bus. And at the end, I felt disappointment, yes - because I didn't want the trip to end.

I can only hope that the contributors to this book get together again for another collaboration, because these stories - and the anthology as a whole - were amazing.
