I have read almost all of Natalie Ann’s books. Her other Fierce series, the cousins of this one, I believe was better. I just couldn’t connect to Sam and Dani. I didn’t feel their connection to each other. They were both workaholic’s that didn’t want to settle down. And you know this because the author tells you almost all the time. I felt the author repeated the same thought over and over. I get that Dani feels guilty that her sister died. But I don’t need to read it every time they mention her sister. You told us, you don’t need to keep telling us.

Maybe she did this in her other books, it’s been awhile since I read them, but I found myself skimming and forcing myself to finish the book. I’ll give the next book of this series a chance. Maybe it will be better.

I enjoyed the story between Sam and Dani, I like the secondary characters and that there was a cameo from characters in the previous series.

I love every minute I spend with the Fierce family and their "loves!" I spent a few hours with Sam (surgeon) and Dani (salon owner). What I love about Natalie Ann's books, is that these people could be your friends. They have real life problems, issues. The characters don't have it easy. They struggle, they laugh, they cry, they succeed, they fail, but in all, they fall in love! Absolutely love these Fierce romances! They never fail to some way, some how, warm my heart!

Really boring. Couldn't connect with the characters and it was just too dull.
