I adore this book series. The author did a great job at creating a new world within an already existing Portland. There was never a predictable outcome.

I loved the whole Wildwood series so much. This book ties up all the story lines in satisfying and surprising ways. This book, more than the other two, felt like a movie with some fun nods to classic movie/action tropes like storming of the tower, big battle scenes, etc. I hope the whole world reads this book series. It's classic and surprising, with so much heart.

I had a harder time immersing in the middle of this book, but it was still a timely read. The audio was great for winding down while on my daily walk. Sometimes, I bumped listening speed up to match my cadence and active mind. I’d slow it back down if listening to sleep.

There were a lot of lessons about life and grief that were timely for me, in a background way that didn’t over-so the subject.
