Violet enjoys spending time with her Aunt Abigail and now, for the first time, she gets to spend the night at Aunt Abigail's house. After a visit from a thin lady, Abigail has to leave to handle an emergency; Violet and her friends, the twin brothers Jack and Zack, begin to investigate Abigail's home and flower shop. While doing so, they discover that the flower shop is home to magic spells and flowers designed to make people happy. We are, of course, not surprised to find that they're going to try out some of the spells, nor are we surprised when they get themselves into trouble with their actions.

What happens when they do? Why, that's the rest of the story, and it's quite a funny and cute story. But I'm not going to tell you what happens because that would spoil it for when you read or listen to it, and that wouldn't be very nice of me to do. The narrator, Kristi Hvam, did a marvelous job, her voice pulling me in and keeping me there throughout the story. She is a narrator that I am adding to my list of ones to definitely listen to.

Another quick one and wishing it lasted longer.

I am wondering what will happen once she turns 16.

Super cute story about a girl in foster care who doesn't know anything about her witch heritage. The story is wonderfully narrated but does end on a bit of a cliffhanger of sorts.
