Didn’t hate it, didn’t love it. Sequels are always a bit weird. I wonder what id think if I finished the series before watching the show. The second season will probably only be loosely similar to this book. So, very interested to see what they actually pick to leave in. I hope the film season 2 and 3 close together bc I hate waiting.

The book does a good job of showcasing the complexity of grief, and the difference of how grief impacts you as a child/teenager and an adult/parent. I did feel like the it lacked storyline diversity, and the characters can feel frustratingly simple. But, still an easy read and keeps you intrigued.

Lots more conflict and challenges in this one. Jeremiah’s POV made my heart hurt. I am so attached to these characters.

Tuve un bloqueo de lector con la mitad de este libro pero al menos el final me gustó.
Lo volvería a leer? Probablemente no.
Mi yo de 16 años hubiera amado este libro pero ya con muchos años más sentí a la protagonista muy infantil.

Belly is pathetic. Jeremiah is annoying. Conrad is an asshole. I hate all of them
