I enjoy listening to this audiobook, told in dual POV with two different narrator who voiced the two main characters. They delivered this story really well.
The plot is simple and interesting. It's well written with a good pacing as well.
Although, I wish the world building was more explored-especially about the Fae world in the beginning.
The characters are pretty well developed, especially the side characters who liven up the story with their sassy comments and bantering.
As for the main character, it took a while for me to warm up to them because sometimes I get annoyed with them throughout the story.
This is definitely one of the spiciest books I've read this year. There's a couple BDSM scenes here and to be honest I found there's one scene that I feels a bit too much.
The ending is a bit rushed but I'm still satisfied with it. The shocking twist at the end gives a glimpse of what the second book is gonna be about.
Overall, listening to this audiobook is a unique experience - the narrators did a great job!
It needs a bit more development in certain areas but still an enjoyable read.
I'm looking forward to read the next book in this series.

“It doesn’t matter that I’m her king. When it comes to Bryn, ultimately I’ll always be the one at her mercy.”
On the other hand, I didn’t like the idea that Bryn couldn’t leave at her own free will. There was one scene where Caiden used sexual acts to get information out of her, and that reminded me of the front cover quote, “Neon Gods meets Fifty Shades.” Comparing your book to 50 shades is simply not a compliment in my opinion—It made me dislike Caiden a little bit and question their relationship.

OMG such a fun reread. The spice, the DS...HOT. Love the lore and can't wait to read book 2 later this month when it releases. I really need to find out more about Tiernan and Fiona!

Wanting a break from reality Bryn jumps at the chance of a free weekend getaway to Vegas. What better way to relax and unwind before getting back to reality and hunting for a new job? Little does Bryn know this weekend getaway is about to turn into something so much more than she bargained for.
Caiden, the King of the Dark Fae, has a lot on his plate but when he makes eye contact, across a crowded hotel lobby, with Bryn he’s determined to learn more about her. What starts out as a few drinks and a great conversation turns into… waking up married?! With fuzzy memories of the night before Caiden is determined to put some distance between them…no matter how much he craves more of Bryn’s time and attention.
Bryn is all sunshine while Caiden is a grumpy alphahole. I absolutely loved watching Caiden try to deny his growing attraction to Bryn. Everyone, except Caiden, can see just how much he wants and needs her. There’s just something so gratifying about reading a grumpy alphahole brought to his knees by his growing affection for his partner. Then we have Bryn blossoming as she learns more about herself and her desires as Caiden awakens a passion in her she’s never experienced before.
This book gives us a steamy Fae novel with the grumpy/sunshine trope, waking up married in Vegas, trying to fight a mating bond, and so much more. I had so much fun reading this book and cannot wait to see what else this series has to give us!
