Whoops! My review of this didn't save. I don't feel like writing it all out again, but pretty much what I said was that I enjoyed this book overall. I loved the setting the most. My only complaint was that it didn't really connect with me...I didn't really feel emotionally tied to the characters. When something major happened to them, I just didn't care as much as I should have. But then again, that might just be a personal thing, so don't let that stop you from reading this awesome book :)

Read the whole book out loud to my roommates in one weekend! It was so hard to go to the places that we needed to because we just wanted to keep reading! Most people said they didn't like the ending and wanted a sequel, but I actually really liked it and I would suggest this if you are looking for a fast read! Such a cute fate/destiny story. We create our own destinies!

This book just summed up all the important points in life within a twenty four-hour period. I am seriously impressed, and I fully recommend it to anyone who wants to be inspired. Full review next week!

----------------------------------

Before I start my review, I would just like to thank Dianne of Oops I Read Again Tours for giving me the opportunity to read such an amazing book, and for supplying me one of my new favorite books! :)

Before reading the book, I actually didn't think that it would be that great, but I had a feeling that it would be original and one-of-a-kind. I was wrong about the first thing, but I was definitely right about the second thing! It really is one-of-a-kind and original.

Sara is a seeker, while Sam is a finder. Sara and Sam met in New York one day, went on an adventure, talked and fell in love with one another in just a time span of twenty four hours. Opposites in principles and philosophies, Sara and Sam are ideal and perfect for one another.

I loved both characters equally, as they both show different sides of life that make complete sense to me. In my sixteen years of living, I haven't experienced falling in love yet, but if I do, I believe I'd fall for someone like Sam - someone I can talk to about things that actually matter, but not have everything go all serious.

Lisa Mangum has left me in awe and admiration after finishing the book. Can you believe that I just read it in one sitting? This book just summed up all the important point in life within a twenty-four-hour period. I learned a great deal, and I began to have a more positive outlook in life. I still can't believe that this book has less than 4 stars on Goodreads, but I hope that changes soon. This book deserves more, and I'll be sure to be an instrument in promoting it.

Comparable to Pushing the Limits, I fully recommend everyone to read this to be enlightened about life and its ways.

**Pardom me for having a crazy review. I didn't know how to write it because of how much I loved it.

Different from anything I have read lately, and I love that it's not too perfect in its ending, but a perfect ending for the story.

Omg. I seriously could not put down this book. I was so engrossed in their adventure around NYC till the fact that I want to re-enact what happened in the book. The ending was abrupt to me. Kinda of hoping that Sara was able to stay and be with Sam. Spending one day with a guy that seems too good-to-be true. Sigh.

I even have a vision of this novel turning into a hit movie. One day, I hope! Amazing book to read!

After Hello by Lisa Mangum

Barnes and Noble.com summary:

Seventeen-year-old Sara’s first trip to New York City, accompanying her father on a business trip, turns into 24 hours she will never forget. An amateur photographer, Sara walks around the city taking pictures; when a boy named Sam wanders into her lens, she is intrigued by him and follows him on his missions to find and trade things for people. They deliver a book to a demanding movie star, who threatens to fire Sam’s brother (who works for her) unless Sara brings her a one-of-a-kind piece of art by the end of the day. As Sam and Sara travel from St. John the Divine Cathedral to Central Park and Times Square, they meet a string of artists and musicians and reluctantly discuss their turbulent pasts. Moving smoothly from fantasy into realistic fiction, Mangum (the Hourglass Door trilogy) alternates between the two teenagers’ perspectives, creating a tense and believable romance. Sam and Sara’s searching, thoughtful conversations form the heart of this story about letting go of the past and gaining the freedom to become an artist. Ages 13–up.

Amazing!!! A modern love story- Sam and Sara (a city boy and a country girl) are joined by fate. With one simple sugar packet and a crazy adventure, they trade their way up to friendship.

This was one of the best romances I have ever read. Read it, and I might trade you a sugar packet. :D

I really liked this cute little story. Considering the short amount of time the story takes place in, the characters are very well developed. I loved all of the characters and the uniqueness of each of them. Since starting this book I have felt the urge to go sneak some sugar packets from the closest restaurant and trade them for stuff because an ongoing game of Bigger and Better sounds pretty tempting. Lisa Mangum's writing style is familiar and satisfying and I hope to soon read more of her books :-)
